Speaker: Lukus Counterman - In Luke 24 the resurrected Jesus appeared to his disciples and gave them parting words before his ascension. He wanted to provide some guiding lights to give them direction once he was gone. So, he grounded them in the gospel, commissioned them to take it to the nations, and guided them into fruitful living while they awaited his return. Those lessons of old still ring true today for followers of Jesus. Those guiding lights still illuminate the way we should live until Christ comes again. May he implant his word in our hearts and help us to follow his instructions by faith.
